10:30 a.m. Pick up 5K and 10K Age Division awards at booth

Location

The course begins between 15th Street and 17th Street on Pacific Avenue in Downtown Tacoma, Washington.

USA Track and Field
  • 10 kilometers (6.2 miles)
  • 5 kilometers (3.1 miles)

Entry Fees

  • $30 per person before close of business, Saturday, September 11th
  • $25 per person Group rate (4 or more entries submitted together excluding Kids' 1K entry) before close of business, Saturday, September 11th
  • $35 per person day of race registration, Sunday, September 12th
  • 1K Kids' Run free to all kids 10 & under

Clothes Check

Runners can safely store their belongings at the complimentary clothes check area.

Safety Restrictions

For everyone's safety, we are unable to permit wheeled devices such as in-line skates, bicycles, baby strollers and baby joggers on the route. All entrants should carefully read the disclaimer before entering.

Chip Timing

Bank to Bay will be timed by Accustat Sports Timing using Winning Time Chip technology. Runners in the 10K and 5K races will be issued a lightweight ankle strap with a timing chip attached when they receive their bib number. The chip must be worn around the ankle. The timing chip and strap must be returned at the conclusion of the event. Participants that do not return the chip will be charged a $30 replacement fee.

Communities In Schools of Tacoma

You can make a difference in the life of a student. Bank to Bay supports Communities In Schools of Tacoma. This non-profit organization works to help young people learn, stay in school, and prepare for life.

Free 1K Kids' Run

All children ages 10 and under are invited to participate. The first 200 kids to register for the 1K Kids' Run receive a free T-shirt. Pick up the shirt on Race Day at Will Call. To ensure you are in the first 200, register online as soon as possible. All children participating in the 1K must be registered. Parents or adult friends/relatives, however, are permitted to accompany the child at no charge and are not required to register.
